You will have a killer time at rocktoberfest,.. just like last year, all the best metal, punk, and rock bands from Okinawa and some friends from Tokyo as well. We also have the BMX guys from Ride Hot Mihama doing a show on Saturday and Sunday will be the car and motorcycle show with some excellent burn-outs. Check out youtube for videos of the event last year… All this plus awesome beer, a full bar, Taxi’s and Daiko service available. Did we mention the event is FREE and open to everyone… See you all out there.

Event is free and open to everyone. Torii Station is open to the public from 15:00 – 24:00.

Come out for two days of the best Rock and Roll on Okinawa.

Unbelievable Rock and Roll!!!!! All of the bands really kicked ass! We had such a great time and so many people have commented how incredible the event was. This year Jason and I kept talking about making a more festival feeling by adding some cool side stage action,… well we got it with the help of Hiroshi and his friends. They brought out a really killer car show and some hotrods from Tomo-San’s shop off 58th called “Real Chevy”. The hotrods did burnouts between bands and they were awesome. Sunday we also invited Isamu-San from ISM-Artworks who does custom pinstripe and is very talented. He painted a cool Shisa on my Van that you can see on his blog at http://ismcustom.seesaa.net/article/165348636.html
Saturday we asked the guys from “Ride Hot” BMX shop to come out and they really put on a show. You can check them out in American Village or at http://www.ridehot.com They were doing tricks between bands playing and then started bunny hopping over volunteers. I think they did a line of 10 people at the final jump. Very cool! Much thanks to all of the additional excitement and to the bands that rocked hard for us. Thanks to MWR and my favorite guy in the whole world Steve from Miller Beer for bringing out all the beer and for the German Leinenkugels on tap. MWR set a new record for beer sales this year and there were no incidents, no DUI’s, and nobody got arrested! Success all around! Think I will hibernate now until next year.
